Points of advice:
Remember to laugh: often these films are intentionally funny.
Note use of light and color; his visual sensibility ranks among the very best.
Pay attention to the small, brief, almost invisible "cutaway" shots; they often provide the best clues to his method.
Think of where you would be behind the camera for each shot (this alone can teach you a great deal about cinematography.)
Don't watch them alone. Much too creepy.
